Hi! I'm Jasmin.
I spent my first ten years of motherhood parenting my children in the ways of the world.
The truth is, I loved my sin back then. Validation from people made me feel on top of the world. Climbing the ladder of career success made me feel valuable. The world and their opinions of me took a seat on the throne of my heart and I offered them to stay a while. My pursuit for validation and achievement began to spill into every area of my life - my friendships, my relationships, the way I saw myself, and even the way I parented.
But God didn't give up on me.
In His mercy, He reached into my brokenness and transformed me from the inside out. As He softened my heart, He reshaped what I understood about Him, myself, my children and my role as a mother. I began raising my children in partnership with God and my motherhood was made new.
That journey is what inspired me to write Co-Parent with God: Parenting in Partnership with the Holy Spirit - a book for every mother who longs to invite God into her parenting.
I pray that my book - and this website - become a place where born-again mamas can find encouragement, biblical wisdom, and practical guidance on how to parent in partnership with God, right in the thick of parenting.
